81st Meridian was born from our desire to deliver an unmatched, elevated wedding film experience. As a husband and wife team who frequently re-watch their own wedding film, your love story is something you won't just watch, but will relive over and over again. JAMES

James is a career creative with extensive experience in the #1 market for movies & television – New York City. Working on shows like Project Runway, Celebrity Apprentice, Design Star and My Fair Wedding with celebrity wedding planner, David Tutera, his cinema skills are unmatched in the wedding industry. With two feature films receiving national & international distribution, it’s safe to say that he has a passion for storytelling.

When not filming weddings or producing documentaries & films, you can find him spending family time with Katie, their daughter and three dogs or enjoying a glass of Barbera in Sonoma, California.

KATIE

With over 7 years experience in Marketing & Advertising and an aptitude for business, Katie has burned the midnight oil many times to support & develop the 81st Meridian brand. With a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications focusing on Broadcast News, the decision to 2nd shoot and co-own 81st Meridian Films was an easy one.

When she’s not in business mode or enjoying a glass of wine with James in Sonoma, Katie is an avid DIY-er in the process of transforming their home into a custom-built masterpiece (@homewithkatieb). You can also find her on both iFIT & Peloton and is always game to go head-to-head on a ride or run.
